A young division.
PEMAGA Building is the contractor of Grupo PEMAGA, a family group that has spent five decades working across metropolitan Barcelona. The name we sign your job with is recent; the trade behind it is not.
That is why we can do something almost nobody here does: open the job up to you, with photos and with dates, without it making us uncomfortable.

Where we come from
A family firm
from the Baix Llobregat.
Grupo PEMAGA has been working across metropolitan Barcelona for fifty years. It has grown slowly and by divisions: each one does a single thing and does all of it, with its own people and its own boss. PEMAGA Building is the construction and refurbishment one.
We did not come out of an office. We came from measuring rooms, from pricing work item by item and from fronting up when a job gets complicated. That is why this website talks about deadlines, work items and ugly days, and not about dreams.
We work along two routes with very different demands —private and public— without changing our method or the person in charge. The specification changes; the way we work does not.

How we work on the inside
The whole job lives
inside the system.
We do not run jobs off a notebook and a WhatsApp group. Every job lives inside our own management system, and what happens on it today goes in today. This is the boring part behind being able to look at your job from the sofa.

The quote, item by item
Nothing starts with a rough figure. Every item of work carries its measurement, its price and the photos we took on the survey hanging off it. That list is the backbone of everything else: progress, interim valuations and the invoice all come out of it.

A site report every day, signed on site
Who was there, on which job and what they worked on. It is signed right there, from a phone and with the site's location. It is not filled in on Friday from memory.

Photos tied to their work item
A loose photo in a folder is worth nothing. Every photo the team uploads stays attached to the item of work it belongs to, so months later you know exactly what it is showing.

Progress and valuations that come out of that
The percentage of work done is worked out by weighting each item, not by eye. And on public works, the periodic certificate comes off the same table, not off a separate spreadsheet somebody balances by hand.
That is why we can open it up.
The client portal is not a pretty website bolted on top of a notebook: it is the same data, filtered. If what you see came from a report somebody writes for you, we would not show it, because it would not be true at nine the next morning.
You will never see internal costs or margins. You will see your quote, your progress and your photos.
What makes us different

One point of contact
The same name and the same phone number from start to finish. You will not have to explain your job again every time you call.

Fixed price, item by item
A price per item of work, with its measurement. If something is not included, it says in writing that it is not. Changes are approved before they are carried out; they do not turn up on the final invoice.

The client portal
You log in with your own account and see your job: the quote item by item with photos, the real percentage of progress and a written thread with the site manager.

Both routes: private and public
We bid for tenders and deliver work awarded through public procurement. That route demands a level of documentation and control that later shows in a private client's refurbishment.

The group behind it
Five decades of Grupo PEMAGA holding up the technical and financial standing. A young contractor with nothing behind it is a risk; this one is not.

Four divisions.
One house.
Each division does its own work and answers for its own work. For you that means that when a job spans several fronts at once —the building work, the kitchen, the climate— nobody has to go looking outside or hear “that one belongs to the other lot”.
Construction division
PEMAGA Building
The building work: full refurbishments, building renovation, commercial fit-outs, blocks of flats and public works by tender. It is this website, and it is who signs your quote.
Kitchens division
PEMAGA Home
German Häcker kitchens, with their own showroom. If we refurbish your kitchen you can fit it out with them: one person responsible for the building work and for the units, and a single installation date.
Climate division
Instaladora AGM
Air conditioning, aerothermal systems and energy: cooling, heating and hot water with their own technicians. They sort out the climate of the home we refurbish —or work on their own for a home that is already done.

The office is at C/ Riera de la Salut, 47. Our working base is the Baix Llobregat and metropolitan Barcelona, where we have the site manager on top of the job every day.
